Petaling Street Market

As part of our visit, we wanted to try and get to the heart of the Malaysian minds and truely experience the culture. We discovered Petaling Street Market and were advised to go in the evening when the road is closed and the market stalls and visitors take over the road and transform it into a bustling, vibrant event.

There were vast numbers of stalls selling watches, perfume, bags, ties, jewelery, fabrics and lots more. We were able to sample local frsh fruits such as lychees and dragon fruits, which were absolutly delicious and very eye catching.

The food was second to none and mainly Chinese style. The food was served fresh and out on the streets to give a true feeling of the vibrant atmosphere.

It was a fantastic place were several members of the group dashed back to later in the week for some last minute gifts!
